“After the whirlwind that was IBC, September finished with a fanfare here at RAVENNA Towers – or actually, to be more precise, in London at the very posh Grosvenor hotel on the occasion of the annual AV Awards. This year was a very special year as it was the AV Awards’ 20th anniversary. As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations, there were a number of special awards, including an award for the most important innovation of the last 20 years. We at RAVENNA, along with our friends at Audinate, QSC and CobraNet (via Kevin Gross), put together a finely crafted award entry stating the case that the most innovative and influential AV technology development of the last 20 years has been audio networking.
