Freeware: Smacktop – das MacBook wird zum Midicontroller
Smacktop von Raymond Weitekamp ist der wohl billigste und zugleich teuerste Midicontroller bisher: das kostenlose Javaprogramm verwandelt die meisten post-2005 MacBooks in schlagbare Drumpads. Diese Modelle verwenden einen Beschleunigungssensor, der eigentlich zum Schutz der Festplatte gedacht ist, sich jedoch zweckentfremden läßt.
SmackTop is a utility for Mac laptops (after 2005) which translates the accelerometer (Sudden Motion Sensor) data into MIDI messages. This enables the user to control their favorite DAW by smacking their laptop. The Mac Air series does not (to my knowledge) have an accelerometer…sorry.
SmackTop analyzes the accelerometer’s output to detect ‘smacks’ and classify them into four directions. Each of these smacks can send a unique MIDI note and/or control change message.
Also, eigentlich billig wenn man schon ein MacBook besitzt, aber teuer wenn man beim Gig zu enthusiastisch wird.

sieht nach nem fake aus.. 🙂 der sensor kann nicht unterscheiden, wo der rechner getroffen wird, sondern lediglich die bewegung.
Probier’s doch einfach mal! Bei mir hat’ unter 10.5.8 leider nicht gefunzt.
